I remember Duncan as being the top distance runner in Hawaii back in the mid 60’s.
I was also a distance runner (cross-country and track and field – mile and half mile). I was a Roosevelt Rough Rider class of “66”. Had the opportunity to run the Kailua High School Open 6 November 1965 (WOW almost 60 years ago!) which Duncan won the individual honors. I managed a 7th place finish. Such great memories.
