Uikelotu “Chris” Kemoeatu
Born in the Pacific nation of Tonga, the Kemoeatu family moved to Hawai’i and settled on the North Shore (Kahuku) when Chris was 3 years old. He attended Kahuku High School, where he was a lineman on both sides of their football team, and helped Kahuku High School win their first state championship and was named the Hawaii State High School Defensive Player of the Year in 2000.
Chris attended the University of Utah and played on their offensive line, and was named as an College All American in 2004.
He was drafted in 2005 by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 6th round of the National Football League’s draft. Chris spent his entire 7-year career with the Steelers as an offensive guard, playing in 75 games and starting in 53 of those games.
Chris is a two-time Super Bowl champion in 2006 and again in 2009, with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
