Robby Naish was the world windsurfing champion for four consecutive years (1976-1979).
He took up windsurfing at the age of eleven and won his first world championship at age thirteen.
He won six overall world crowns in a sport he helped expand internationally.
In addition to five Professional Windsurfing Association (PWA) titles he held three PWA world wave titles in 1988, 1989 and 1991.
