Dae Sung Lee
(Born August 6, 1959)
International Taekwondo
Master Lee has been involved with the Asian martial art of Taekwondo
since 1969 at the age of 11.
Master Lee is a nine-time U.S. National Champion in the sport
(1979-1987), and he has medaled numerous times in various World and
International Taekwondo tournaments including the World Taekwondo
Championships, World Games and Pan American Games.
He coached the 1992 U.S. Olympic Taekwondo team.
He was involved as the Taekwondo trainer at the Colorado Springs
Olympic Training Center, Resident Athlete Program from 1988 to 1993.
In 1993, Master Lee opened the U.S. Taekwondo Center in Hawaii and he
has trained thousands in the art of Taekwondo.
He remains very active in the U.S. Taekwondo Union and the Junior
Olympic Committee.
