
FATHER KENNETH BRAY
(1879-1953)
Sportsman.
Father Kenneth Brays name is synonymous with Iolani School. He was
more than a coach, teacher, counselor, confidant and priest to hundreds of students,
players, parents, faculty members and friends he was an inspirational leader, role
model and humanitarian.
Bray left a long line of sons and daughters at Iolani who are now active
and contributing members in every facet of Hawaiis community. Bray, "The Old
Man," as his followers remember him, set a high standard for all educators to follow.
Dwight Eisenhower became President of the United
States with a landslide victory in 1952.
