Junior Ah You

Professional Football Player
Junior Ah You was a high school, college and professional
football star. He began his career as a standout player for
Kahuku High School in both football and basketball, graduating
with the Class of 1969.
As a college player for Arizona State he participated in the
Fiesta Bowl and the Peach Bowl where he was voted Most Valuable
Player on both occasions. He was named All WAC Defensive End
and All American Defensive End in 1971 and was selected to play
in the Hula Bowl in 1972.
From 1972 to 1982 he played for the Montreal Alouettes in the
Canadian Footbal League where he was named to the All Canadian
All-Star Team twice and played in five Grey Cup Championships.
Between 1984 and 1985 he played in the USFL for the Chicago,
New Orleans and Arizona teams.
He is the only player from Hawaii to ever be elected to the
Canadian Football League Hall of Fame.
